Discussed various issues related drug addiction and unemployment in JK

New Delhi January 23,KNT : Social activist and General secretary Janta dal United (JDU) Jammu and Kashmir Dr Mohammad Ayoub Mattoo calls on Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura , Member of Parlimentary board and Chairman National Commission for Minorities Government of India member parliamentary board and retired IPS officer.
Dr Ayoub raised several issues related to menace of drug addiction, age group of addicts, hot sports of drug peddling and unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir UT.
He said that the current government has failed miserably in tackling the alarming rise in unemployment in jammu and Kashmir. He demanded the government to immediately fill the vacancies in various developments on fast track basis.
He said that the educated unemployed youth’s have been left at the mercy of circumstances and they are now falling into the drug Mafia and other social evils in the world of despair.
Dr Ayoub emphasis on conducting awareness camps in schools and colleges on mass scale to sensitize the youth about hazards and I’ll effects of consuming drugs.
On the occasion Dr Ayoub apprised about the situation with regard to the drug menaces and measures to be taken at district level control the drug peddling and it’s consumption, besides measures for rehabilitation of drug victims.
Dr Ayoub has also discussed regularization of the services of personnel working in various government departments on daily wage and daily basis as well as personnel working under the National Health Mission for last 18 years. He discussed with the chaiman minority commission about the fruit growers who have been sufferd .
The Chairman national Commission for Minorities shri Iqbal Singh lalpura appreciated Dr Ayoub matoo and assured that the demands are genuine and will be addressed right away.(KNT)
