The event aims to raise awareness about traffic rules and safety issues among the general public in Doda district.
As part of the celebrations, 60 volunteers participated in the program, spreading awareness about road safety. Traffic DYSP Doda and ARTO Doda also recognized and awarded passengers, drivers, and members of the public for following traffic rules.
This initiative is in line with the National Road Safety Month, which is observed annually to promote road safety awareness and reduce accidents ¹. Similar events have been organized in the past, including a road safety awareness campaign by the Motor Vehicles Department in Doda, which focused on safe driving practices and adherence to traffic rules ².
